This basic hydrogen fuel cell car kit is a great introduction to the science behind hydrogen-powered vehicles.
Using the reversible fuel cell as an electrolyser, students will first create and store hydrogen, then use it to power the car with a chassis that is designed to turn when it hits a barrier. This car has a simple drive train which allows it to turn 90 degrees when it hits an obstacle. Flashing green lights add visual interest. Twin graduated gas cylinders allow for easy measurements.
