WELCOME to the Interactive Learning Lab at the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center (ATEEC). The Lab, supported by the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, provides the Quad City community with a hands-on learning experience for sustainable energy technology. It’s a place where teachers and students, experts and beginners, and lifelong learners can experience new things about energy. We hope you’ll feel free to gather here to share ideas and learn from each other, as well as the Lab and its educators.
As the newest enhancement to the outstanding existing educational corridor in downtown Davenport, ATEEC has opened our Interactive Learning Lab here to:
- Assist teachers in promoting career awareness and preparing a pipeline for Quad City K‒12 science, technology, engineering, and math students.
- Prepare community college students for the ever-changing environmental and energy workforce.
- Become a catalyst in assisting economic development efforts to bring new business and industry to the area.
- Showcase the Quad City’s robust, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit in our “Local Leaders” gallery.
We are also looking forward to hosting your field trips and business meetings. Come in and explore the technology and science of sustainable energy, and learn how your individual choices can impact your family, your neighborhood, and the world.
